Sewing and Stitchery Expo
Each
year Washington State University in Pierce County sponsors the
largest, most comprehensive consumer education and trade event
for the sewing industry in the United States - the Sewing and
Stichery Expo. This annual event draws more than 30,000 people
from as far away as Spain and Australia.
CTA's from many different counties volunteer at the Sewing Expo
by selling seminar tickets, distributing brochures, hosting
seminars, helping with directions, dressing models for fashion
shows, and answering questions for the many attendees.
