Keep Christmas Fresh

Trees used during the holiday season inside your home can be a wonderful and fragrant tradition. Keeping decorated trees and bows fresh requires some care and attention. It is important to start with the freshest cut trees and branches available and keeping them watered and away from direct heat sources. An eight-foot tree can drink up to 1 gallon of water a day to start with and will slowly decrease its uptake over time. Researches on additives have not shown any advantage over simple water. Make sure you tree stands has enough water capacity for at least 24 hours and check the water regularly.
