ECEAP/Headstart

Young children benefit from talking about and tasting new foods. Research shows that when young children have positive food tasting experiences, they are more likely to try healthy foods as they grow up. This series of monthly lessons include a story with flannel board, a group activity, and a tasting station with additional activities. Lessons also include "I Tasted a New Food Today" sticker master and parent newsletters to extend the lesson into the home.
