Summer 2009 Beach Walk Schedule
Bring your family and friends and show up for a fun couple hours learning about the clams, crabs and other critters that share our Kitsap shorelines.
Dress for the weather. Wear boots or shoes that can get wet. Some beaches are rocky so sandals are not recommended - tennis shoes and boots work well. Wear sun block.
No need to reserve a space unless you're bringing a large crowd. If you are then email jaws@u.washington.edu and we'll make sure we have enough Beach Naturalists on the beach to answer your questions and guide you along the shore.
Coordinated and sponsored by: Washington Sea Grant and Washington State University Kitsap Extension and the volunteers of the Kitsap Beach Naturalist Program.
